Thinking Differently

A collection which focuses on positive dyslexia attributes, arose from Allcock’s dyslexia diagnosis. This led to an investigative and celebratory piece of work, developed to empower her dyslexic sitters, spread awareness to her audience and deepen her understanding of dyslexia. Allcock believes that everyone should be accepted, seen, and heard, so ‘Thinking Differently’ opens a dialogue with her sitters, working collaboratively to share their stories, create awareness, build a community, and support the Helen Arkell Dyslexia charity.
